Church Street

As I walked into church street the first thing I spotted was an absolutely beautiful church trying to hide behind the trees leave. Standing out with its white rusted colour, the beauty of church really shines on the rest of church street. Some people may not even of known why it was called church street but its clearly because a church has been built there, a big beautiful church with loads of green around it. I found this absolutely amazing so I decided to take a photograph of this church because I was so intrigued by it and even the way I took the photograph of it like the church was like a kid playing hide and seek trying to hide behind the trees with fail of someone being able to see them. In the second photograph I really like the way I captured the church street post sign because Ironically, the same angle I had taken of the church behind the trees is the same angle the 'church street' sign was taken even when I stepped back to take the photograph, I took this photograph of the sign so that it will be known to others that I was on this street taking photographs. Funny enough opposite the church all that you can see is about six bus stops with loads of people waiting for a bus. Seemed like a hot spot for me, but to see something so peaceful such as a church on a busy street is such a paradox. In the third photograph I took this because you can see exactly what was on the opposite side of the church which was a shopping mall, which is constantly busy during its opening time, this is evidence of the paradox that takes place on church street. The name of the church is n fact St Marys which is an Anglian church, and has a rich and long history being over 850 years old and has been rebuilt and refurbished over the years. This church is one of the largest churches in Bedfordshire and is considered an excellent example of medieval architecture.
